Abstract
The common bean cultivar BRS FC409 has high-quality seeds of the commercial group carioca and increased iron, zinc and protein contents. It produces mean yields of 2,048 kg ha-1, can potentially reach 3,755 kg ha-1 and is resistant to fusarium wilt, curtobacterium wilt, anthracnose, common bacterial blight and angular leaf spot.
